In order to study biodiversity and species extinction, Jean Parrein took an interest in dinosaurs’ extinction which happened sixty-six millions years ago. We are at end of the cretaceous period and one event will change the face of the world: the fall of a giant meteorite on our Planet which lowered the temperature by 25°C.
Facing climate warning, the author remembered his observations during the solar eclipse of august 1999, event more insignificant, but which brought a fall in temperature during occultation.
Fortified by these experiences and in opposite way to the ominously recognized process which aim to a reduction of greenhouse gas, he goes to the origin by provoking a permanent and partial occultation of solar rays.
